Maria Wells

My name is Maria Wells, and I serve as an Admissions Recruiter for Graduate & Non-Traditional Admissions at Rowan University. In my role, I actively recruit and guide prospective students through every step of the admissions process by providing personalized communication, hosting engaging events, and maintaining accurate records and program knowledge to ensure each student receives the best possible experience.

Before joining Rowan, I spent several years with BAYADA Home Health Care in the Pediatrics division, where I advanced from intern to associate, and ultimately to Client Services Manager. In that position, I oversaw the coordination and supervision of in-home and in-school client services, supported over 100 field employees, strengthened community relationships, and expanded caseloads through outreach and relationship-building. I also managed recruitment initiatives and BAYADA’s social media presence, where I first discovered my passion for connecting people with meaningful opportunities.

Transitioning from healthcare to higher education has been an exciting next chapter! I’m thrilled to bring my experience in relationship management, communication, and recruitment to the world of admissions, and to contribute to Rowan’s mission of helping students achieve their academic and professional goals.
