What is Brown & Gold?
Brown & Gold is a merit-based scholarship for out-of-state students enrolled full time during the fall semester.
How much can I earn?
Applicants can earn up to $8,500 per year. The Office of Admissions bases award amounts on the: overall academic qualifications of the student, competitiveness of the applicant pool and available funding.
Who is eligible: first-year or transfer students?
Both first-year and transfer out-of-state students are eligible for Brown & Gold.
How do I qualify?
Applicants must have a permanent residence outside of the State of New Jersey.
Is there a deadline?
Yes. First-year and transfer students who apply for admission before January 31 will be considered for the Brown & Gold scholarship.
Why the name "Brown & Gold"?
Brown and gold are our official school colors.
Note: First-year applicants may receive this scholarship for up to four (4) academic years, totaling eight (8) semesters. Eligible transfer applicants may receive this scholarship for up to two (2) academic years, totaling four (4) semesters.
