Rowan University will transfer up to 90 credits from accredited institutions of higher education, therefore, a student from any community college or university should feel confident that they will be able to transfer credit toward their Rowan degree.
Rowan University also participates in the State-wide Transfer Agreement, ensuring graduates of New Jersey Community Colleges that they can fully transfer credit earned from an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree to Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.

PARTNER COUNTY COLLEGES (RCBC and RCSJ)
We partner with Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) and Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) to support guaranteed admissions pathways into Rowan University. Rowan University's partnerships with regional County Colleges represent the opportunity for New Jersey residents to pursue a bachelor's degree at a highly reduced cost. Additional benefits are available to our students who transfer from one of our partner county colleges, RCBC and RCSJ, including:

→ Guaranteed admission to a degree completion program (provided admission conditions are met)
→ Seamless transfer of credits enabling entrance to Rowan University as a fully matriculated junior
→ Bachelor's degree completion online or on-site at your partner community college
→ A discount off of the prevailing on-campus Rowan University tuition and fees
→ RCBC and RCSJ students may also qualify for special financial aid programs.

ELIGIBILITY
- If you have completed 12 or more college credits at another institution at the time of your application, you are considered a transfer student.
- Most programs require a minimum 2.0 GPA for admission. However, a 2.0 GPA does not guarantee admission due to competition for available openings.

Rowan University offers credit transfer opportunities for previous college coursework, military experience and on-the-job training that reduces course requirements and tuition costs.
TRANSFER OF CREDITS
We transfer credits for military courses including the Joint Services Transcript (JST), Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST) [formerly Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES)], Medical Education and Training Campus (METC), and Agile Combat Employment (ACE)-evaluated training.
Please note: All applicants must have earned at least 12 credits from a community college or university (college-level credits) to be considered a transfer student.
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID
As a transfer student, you may be eligible for special scholarship funding, including but not limited to:
• Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Transfer Honor Society Scholarships
• Transfer Trustee Scholarships
• Military Appreciation Scholarship for Veterans and Dependents
• Students transferring from Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) or Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) may also qualify for special financial aid programs.
