Both our BA and BS students integrate the foundations of biology, chemistry, physics and other core STEM disciplines with their understanding of environmental issues. Environmental scientists are on the front line of documenting environment change and developing solutions to modern problems that impact everyone on Earth.
Our programs prepare students to be leaders for positive change. Environmental Science is one of the fastest-growing career fields, and job prospects are excellent.
“Rowan has a diverse set of electives so you have the ability to super specialize and find the direction you want to study. Tomorrow if you want to be doing groundwater assessing through radioisotopes, we have a radioactivity course. If you want to go out and assess streams or delineate wetlands, we have an advanced stream ecology course."
