Freshman
First-year Students
Special Requirements:
Special Note: You will receive your admissions decision based on your unofficial transcript that you can upload through your application portal; however, you still need to submit your official college transcript(s) in order to receive formal credit evaluation and other advising related services.
Transfer students offered admission will receive a credit evaluation by the registrar and the academic department. The official transcript is needed to complete the Registrars evaluation. Once that evaluation is completed, an advisor will answer questions about transferring credits from another institution to Rowan University.

ApplyRowan University offers merit-based scholarships to undergraduate international freshman and transfer applicants. All admitted international students (on valid non-immigrant visa) are automatically considered for Rowan University international scholarship awards. International merit-based scholarships range from $1,000 - $19,000 per year.
In order to receive priority consideration for the international scholarship we encourage students to apply for admission and complete their application by March 1. There is no separate scholarship application.
Scholarship recipients will be notified via their application portal and/or via email. Upon receiving the student’s enrollment confirmation, the award will be divided by two and deducted from one’s fall and spring semester. Rowan International Scholarship funds will only be applied toward direct costs including tuition, fees, on campus housing, and board for fall and spring semesters only. Recipients will be expected to maintain a minimum 2.5 grade-point average (GPA) based on a GPA range of 0.0 – 4.0.
*Merit-based scholarships are awarded competitively and always contingent on available funding.
