Rowan University offers merit-based scholarships to international applicants. All admitted international students (on valid non-immigrant visas) are automatically considered for these awards, which range from $2,000 - $10,000 per year.
In order to receive priority consideration for the international scholarship, apply for admission and complete your application by March 1. There is no separate scholarship application. Scholarships are awarded to full-time international freshmen and transfers entering during the fall semester only. Scholarships are not awarded to students entering during the spring semester.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by email. Once a recipient confirms enrollment, the award will be divided by two and deducted from that student’s fall and spring semesters. The funds will be applied toward direct costs such as tuition, fees, on-campus housing and board for fall and spring semesters only. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Merit-based scholarships are awarded competitively and are always contingent on available funding.
