SAT/ACT Scores

SAT/ACT official scores must be submitted to Rowan University using The CEEB code: 2515. These scores must be sent to Rowan directly from the College Board or ACT for the following applicants:

  • College of Engineering applicants
  • EOF applicants
  • Home schooled students
  • Candidates for academic merit scholarships
  • Candidates for the Bantivoglio Honors Concentration
  • International students

Review the Freshman Class Profile for average SAT scores of matriculated students.

Super Scoring

Super Scoring is the process by which Rowan University considers your highest section scores across all the dates you took the SAT. Rather than confining your scores to one particular date, we will take your highest section scores, forming the highest possible composite score.

Test Optional Admissions

The test-optional admission policy is designed to provide access to students who are successful in the classroom, regardless of standardized test scores.

Students who have excelled academically can take advantage of the Test Optional Admissions path. Prospective students who have a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher may chose not to submit their SAT scores as part of the Admissions application process. There are some exceptions, including prospective engineering majors, EOF applicants, home school students, international students, and those applying for merit scholarships.

Rowan will use alternate indicators to evaluate college preparedness, including grade point averages, class rank, courses taken, evidence of leadership and motivation, and essays provided by the students.

Students admitted to the University through test optional admissions are required to take reading and math placement tests. Test scores will not be accepted for exemption.
